This place was amazing! It’s beautifully decorated, in a great location along the front street in Tavira and has the most amazing views from the rooftop. You’re also just steps away from the ferry to go to the beach. We could not have been happier with our stay!

The place is beautiful! The view from the Terrace is amazing. Tavira is a nice location, its only 30 minutes to Faro and 15 minutes to a beach without a ferry, or just take the ferry next to the house. One problem, we did not wanted to leave!

The apartment
This charming apartment covers the entire second floor of the building and has six bedrooms, two living rooms and a big kitchen. Plenty of old charm with high decorated ceilings and refurbished 2019-20.
The roof terrace on top has a dining area, a lounge area and an outdoor shower. The views are amazing, the privacy complete. Everything is around the corner, city centre, beaches, golf, restaurants, whatever your plans are.

Stay on the rooftop and watch the sunrise over the river or the sunset over the medieval castle. Walk along the waterfront or catch the beach ferry just outside. Stroll in the city or enjoy the nature around the corner.

BEACH LIFE AND SPORTS
The beaches round the corner are world class with endless views, clear water, some waves but never large, warm water and large enough to find a quiet spot for you. The easiest way to get there is to jump on the beach ferry at the riverfront just outside of the apartment. Beaches are enjoyable for swimming from spring until autumn and sun shines 320 days a year and water sports all year round. For other sports, there is great biking and running tracks as well as tennis courts.
GOLF
Golfers have great choice among the many courses nearby with friendly local courses in good condition as well as emerald-green designer courses at the top of European golf. Six courses are within 15 km and another fifteen within 50 km. The clubs welcome visitors and are most of the time not too busy. Climate is perfect all year with summer temperatures of 25-30 degrees and winter 15-20 degrees.
NATURE
Set on the river and lagoon at edge of the ocean there is plenty of beautiful spots to visit near and around Tavira. Take a hike or a bike ride on the path through the salt pans with flamingos, walk the dunes of the endless beaches, see the orchards and olive groves just inland from Tavira or walk the hills there. Take a boat trip to see dolphins at sea or sea horses and bird life in the lagoons.
THE CITY
Tavira is a small vibrant city where the river Gilão meets the Atlantic Ocean in the Eastern Algarve, with roots back to the Romans. The narrow streets, the small shops and bars, the variety of decorated houses dating back centuries, the outdoor street-side cafés are mixed with a modern and functioning town for its locals and visitors.
